πŸ† Rating Coffee Shops☕️ ✨

☕️ This week, I want to share some of my favorite coffee shops around Peoria!

First of all, I could never focus or be productive while sitting in my bedroom on my laptop all day. 😡‍πŸ’« I get distracted too easily, so I prefer to go somewhere that helps me focus, put my headphones on 🎧, and get my work done. Ever since I started college, my entire work routine has changed—including how I complete assignments, study for exams πŸ“š, and tackle projects.

So, let's get into it! πŸŽ‰

Here are my Top 5 Coffee Shops around Peoria:

πŸ₯‰ Top 5: CxT Roasting Company at Keller Station

I had a meeting and an interview here with a small business owner who wanted me to manage their social media accounts. πŸ“± The place was very welcoming, and the aesthetic was great. ✨ My only concern was the price—like most coffee shops, it was on the expensive side. The vibe here was interesting because I felt like I was surrounded by professionals with full-time jobs πŸ‘©‍πŸ’», which made me feel more productive.

πŸ₯ˆ Top 4: Starbucks

My go-to coffee shop during my freshman year of college! πŸŽ“ This was the typical spot to meet up with friends πŸ‘―‍♀️, customize our coffee drinks and refreshers 🍹, and hang out. I also loved grabbing coffee here in the mornings when I had my babysitting job because I could order ahead on my phone πŸ“², which was super convenient. However, the place can get overcrowded, and sometimes it still makes me feel like a freshman, so I don’t go as often unless my friends want to.

πŸ₯‰ Top 3: Intuition

This coffee shop made my top three not only because it’s only a mile from my house 🏑, but also because of the friendly staff. I knew someone who worked there, and she was amazing! 😊 Although I don’t go as often anymore, I had to include it because of the atmosphere, convenient location, and great service.

πŸ₯ˆ Top 2: Zion Coffee Bar

Zion takes the second spot for several reasons:

  1. It’s super popular among college students. πŸŽ“
  2. The staff is very friendly. πŸ˜ƒ
  3. It has one of the best locations of any coffee shop. πŸ“
  4. Their marketing is top-tier—they have the best social media presence among all the coffee shops on this list. πŸ“’

The atmosphere is amazing, and the coffee is great. ☕️✨ It is on the pricier side πŸ’Έ, which is why I ranked it second, but overall, I’ve had great experiences here and always manage to finish a lot of work on time. ✅

πŸ† Top 1: Leaves and Beans (Peoria Heights)

My absolute favorite coffee shop! πŸ… Here’s why:

  1. The coffee is top-tier. ☕️πŸ”₯ I always enjoy my drinks here!
  2. The atmosphere is cozy and homey. πŸ‘✨ It has a welcoming vibe that makes me want to stay for hours, and honestly, I could probably take a nap there. 😴
  3. It’s affordable! πŸ’° The prices are reasonable, and their rewards program keeps me coming back. πŸ’³

☕️ Honorable Mentions:

If you’re looking for more coffee spots, here are some others I’ve tried:

  • Dang at Main πŸ˜‹
  • River Kitty CafΓ©
  • Ardor Breads and Provisions πŸ₯–
  • Reverence
  • CafΓ© Santa Rosa πŸŒΉ
  • Scooter’s Coffee πŸš—☕️

How about you? What are your favorite coffee shops or study spots around Peoria? Let me know! πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘‡

  1. CXT is the best no doubt. I've seriously had 100+ meetings there. I'm pretty easy going though - Iced black coffee, tables to meet, and cheap. That is what I like about CXT.
