✨Let’s Talk Skincare: My Routine, Ratings, and Real Results π¬
Do You Love Skincare? π✨
If so, this blog is totally for you! This week, I wanted to share with you all what I’ve been using for years to take care of my skin and keep my face glowing. Let’s get into the tea ☕ on my personal skincare journey, product by product!
CeraVe: 8/10 π§΄
Okayyy, I’ve got a lot of thoughts on this one. It's super popular for beginners starting their skincare journey, and for good reason. I've heard tons of people say it helped clear their skin and gave great results. I only used it once (thanks to my mom because I was broke at the time π), and honestly, it was good but not good enough to keep me from exploring other brands.
Proactiv: 8.5/10 π₯
Ah yes… my puberty-phase skincare moment π . I used this back in high school when I had major anxiety about going to school with pimples everywhere. I even begged my mom to get me the full set. It was expensive, so I didn’t stick with it long-term, but it actually helped a lot with clearing my skin and giving it that glow ✨.
La Roche-Posay: 7/10 π«π·
I honestly picked this one up just because the bottle looked aesthetic π€. I used it for about a year, and while it felt nice on the skin, it didn’t really help clear up my face at all.
Paula’s Choice: 8/10 π
I switched to this brand because it was trending on TikTok around 2020. Influenced? Yes. Regrets? Not really. It was a pretty solid product and worth trying if you're into that clean girl skincare vibe.
Pink Cloud: 9/10 π☁️
This brand is AMAZING. First of all, let’s talk about the packaging — it’s pink and so aesthetic. It totally gives Ariana Grande vibes for some reason. I used this for almost a year, and it made my skin feel so smooth. The only reason I stopped was because of the price. It's on the expensive side but worth it if your skin isn’t super sensitive.
The Ordinary: 9/10 π§ͺ
This is what I currently use for toner and moisturizer. It worked really well on my face. I first tried it because it went viral on TikTok, and surprisingly, it delivered. I've been using it all throughout college, and it helped lighten my dark spots a lot. Totally recommend their toner!
Anua: 9.5/10 πΏ
I also currently use a few of their products, like serum, oil cleanser, and foaming cleanser. And yes, TikTok made me buy it too lol. But honestly, ever since I started using Anua, I’ve barely had any breakouts. My skin feels healthy and happy.
Beauty of Joseon: 9/10 ☀️
I LOVE this product. I only use the sunscreen, but I’m obsessed. I’ve heard their other products are just as good. Highly recommend trying their sunscreen, especially with summer coming up. Gotta protect that glow!
Medicube: 10/10 π₯
Now THIS is the best so far. I know I’ve only used their moisturizer, but I’m being so real right now. Korean skincare is next level and after just one week of using Medicube, my skin already feels amazing. I can’t wait to try more of their products.
I know I’m not a dermatologist or skincare professional, but all of these reviews are based on my personal experience (and no, sadly, this isn’t sponsored… but I wish it was π©).
What about you? Do you have any skincare recommendations I should try? Or any hair products you’re loving lately? Let’s chat in the comments π¬π
I love the La Roche Posay face cleanser! Another great one that I've been using in rotation to that one is the Youth To The People's Superfood Cleanser. It's super gentle on your skin and you definitely will feel like your face is clean afterwards, without feeling dry. Definitely try it out if you're looking for a new one!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your recommendation! I would totally try this brand in the future!
DeleteI definitely am a skin care girly, CeraVe is definitely my go to essentially. I love how you showcase different products many use.
